We specialize in advanced, component-level motherboard and logic board diagnostics and micro-soldering. Our standard core services cover Asus, Dell, Lenovo, LG, and HP laptops, as detailed on our dynamic active Services page. Our specialized services are strictly limited to hardware assessment and physical component-level repair.
-
A diagnostic fee of $79.95 applies to all incoming mail-in evaluations and is strictly non-refundable. This fee compensates for the expert labor, specialized schematic analysis, and forensic troubleshooting required to isolate complex circuit and power rail failures. We will provide an official repair estimate before beginning any active micro-soldering or replacement work. Repairs will proceed only after receiving explicit customer approval, provided either in writing (email/text) or verbally.
-
Our typical turnaround time is 2 to 4 weeks. You acknowledge that this timeline is a good-faith estimate and is highly dependent on international part availability, complex schematic tracking, and the discovery of hidden, underlying secondary circuit faults during testing. While we make every effort to meet these timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to supply-chain parts shortages or unforeseen electronic complications.
-
We offer a 60-day limited warranty on the specific parts replaced and the precision labor performed during the repair. This warranty starts from the date the return tracking shows the item as delivered. This limited warranty strictly does not cover:
Any subsequent physical impact, dropping, structural bending, or user negligence.
Subsequent liquid exposure, moisture intrusion, or corrosion.
Software or virus-related issues, operating system updates, or firmware bugs.
Any damage caused or discovered after our repair due to secondary component failure.
Any device that has been opened, tampered with, or modified by the customer or a third-party repair shop following our service.
-
Laptop Board Repair assumes absolute zero liability for data loss, file corruption, or storage media failure under any circumstances. Board-level electrical shorts, power rail failures, and liquid exposure frequently destroy or corrupt data before the device even arrives at our facility. You are solely responsible for backing up your data prior to shipping. If the laptop is unresponsive and cannot boot to allow a backup, you acknowledge that data loss is an inherent risk of hardware restoration. Data recovery is a separate, highly specialized process and is never guaranteed. Furthermore, we are not responsible for data that becomes permanently inaccessible due to hardware-bound drive encryption (e.g., BitLocker or FileVault) linked to a destroyed security chip (TPM).
-
If our technicians determine that a device is completely unrepairable due to severe PCB substrate charcoal burning, layer delamination, or unavailable proprietary integrated circuits, the $79.95 diagnostic fee remains due and non-refundable. You acknowledge that advanced micro-soldering and voltage injection testing carry inherent structural risks on already-compromised circuitry, and some advanced repairs carry a statistical success rate (e.g., a 50% success rate on severe liquid or surge damage). You agree that we are not liable if an already unstable or "dead" device degrades further or ceases all intermittent functionality during mandatory diagnostic testing.
-
Devices left unpaid, unapproved, or unclaimed for more than thirty (30) calendar days following our formal notification of repair completion, unrepairable status, or a request for customer input will be legally deemed abandoned. Upon the 31st day, the Company reserves the absolute right to dismantle, recycle, harvest for parts, or sell the abandoned hardware at its sole discretion to recoup outstanding diagnostic labor, storage, and administrative handling costs, with zero remaining liability or compensation owed to the customer.
-
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Laptop Board Repair and its technicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of digital data, or the cost of alternative substitute equipment. Our total cumulative liability to you for any cause or claim whatsoever shall be strictly capped at and shall never exceed the exact dollar amount paid by you to Laptop Board Repair for the specific service under dispute.
-
Full payment for services is due immediately upon completion. For successful repairs, the authorized Flat Rate Repair fee ($270.00) covers both the repair labor and standard return shipping. For unrepairable devices, the non-refundable diagnostic fee ($79.95) must be paid before the item is shipped back. Devices will not be packaged, released, or handed over to shipping carriers until your outstanding invoice has been paid in full and funds have cleared.
-
You are solely responsible for securely packaging, addressing, and shipping your device to our facility. We are not liable for physical damage, carrier theft, or losses incurred while your package is in transit to us. The risk of loss or transit damage shifts entirely to you (the customer) the moment we hand the outbound package over to the return shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). While standard return shipping is included in the Flat Rate Repair fee, we highly recommend requesting additional third-party shipping insurance, as the Company is not liable for carrier transit failures.
-
We reserve the absolute right to decline or cancel service on any device at any stage of the process for any reason. Reasons for refusal include, but are not limited to:
Unsafe, heavily contaminated, or biologically hazardous devices.
Devices with severely swollen or physically punctured lithium batteries.
Devices that have been heavily tampered with, butchered, or scorched by previous low-quality repair attempts.
Legacy or modern devices that fall completely outside our supported brand listings and schematic access databases.
