Mail-In Laptop Repair – Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Process
How does the mail-in repair process work?

Tell us about your laptop issue and we’ll provide clear, easy-to-follow mail-in instructions.

Do you provide prepaid shipping labels?

Customers are responsible for shipping their device to our facility. We highly recommend using a carrier with tracking and insurance. Return shipping back to you is completely covered by us (included in both the diagnostic and repair tiers).

Do you offer an express rush option?

Yes! We offer an Express Service upgrade for $99. This gives your laptop priority bench placement—our technicians bypass the standard queue and jump straight into micro-soldering to get your professional device back to you ASAP.

How should I package my laptop?

Use a sturdy box with at least 2 inches of proper bubble wrap surrounding the laptop on all sides. Never use a soft envelope. While we aren't liable for transit damage on the way to us, proper padding keeps your device safe.

Repairs & Capabilities
Do you accept all laptop brands?

We specialize exclusively in component-level motherboard repairs for Asus, Dell, Lenovo, LG, and HP laptops.

Please note: We do not service Apple MacBooks or brands outside of this list.

What does the repair actually cover?

We focus on micro-soldering and circuit diagnostics. This includes fixing:

  • "No Power" states
  • Liquid damage
  • Shorted components
  • Failed charging ports
  • Corrupted BIOS chips

How long does a standard repair take?

Our standard turnaround time is typically 2 to 4 weeks. This allows for meticulous circuit diagnostics, micro-soldering precision, and extensive post-repair stability testing.

Pricing, Warranty, & Data
How does your pricing work?

  • No fix: Only pay $79.95 for diagnostic fee.
  • Fixed: Then customers pay $270 only.

Is my personal data safe?

Yes. Motherboard repairs target power and logic circuits, meaning your storage drive (SSD/HDD) remains untouched.

However, because hardware diagnostics introduce variables, we always recommend backing up your data before shipping if possible. We are not responsible for data loss.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Absolutely. We back our micro-soldering craftsmanship with a 60-day limited warranty covering the exact circuits or components we repaired.

This does not cover new physical damage, liquid spills, or unrelated component failures after the laptop is returned.
